LA Bodywork

I have been coming to LA Bodywork for about 2 years now. As an aging Brazilian jiujitsu practitioner I am constantly getting hurt, and Lisa Marie and Hannah are always able to completely heal me, or at the very least reduce my symptoms while I address the issue in other ways. Most already know Lisa Marie. She is amazing and has been doing this for a long time. As Lisa Marie has gotten busier, I was unable to get time with her and so gave Hannah a shot. Although she is relatively new, after only a few minutes I could tell she was very well trained and she has been my go to (in Sherman Oaks) for the past 6 months. I've had back/hip issues for the last few years and bounced between chiro, deep tissue massage, and stretching spots, but nothing has been able to help as much as LA Bodywork. Jolene does a fantastic job using a variety of techniques like deep tissue, cupping, scraping, and more to help address muscle tension and tightness. Highly recommend!

I have been going to Lisa for the past 7 years and also recently started seeing Hannah as well. As an 18x marathoner and youth track and field/cross country coach, bodywork is an essential part of my injury prevention and training routine, but I've learned over the years that you can't entrust this with just anyone. I need someone with knowledge of endurance sports and of female physiology. Lisa is incredibly well studied and in tune with her clients' particular needs and that is reflected in the quality of the treatment. I've had various injuries over the years and I've been able to get back up again - much in part due to Lisa and Hannah. They are absolutely incredible at what they do!

Lisa was amazing! I was pregnant a few years ago with my second child and having a lot of lower back and hip pain. After seeing Lisa I had so much relief. I have also watched her business grow and thrive with new therapist/body workers. Lisa has done an amazing job with the girls continuing education. They are so knowledgable and are able to explain how they break down tissue, how to help with muscle recovery and how to improve mobility. I cant say enough about Lisa and her team!

Over 40+ Years I have had massages all over the world. I constantly go back to Lisa because she is absolutely the best. Attentive, strong (without using elbows or being pointy to make up for lack of strength), accommodating to clients needs, skillful and all in all a joy to be around.
