Ray's Barber Shop Tribeca

Hands down the best Barber Shop I have ever been to in my 30+ years of existence. I've been everywhere from Queens, Manhattan(work), Brooklyn, and the Island. None of which come close to the professionalism and quality this Barbershop provides. Place is super clean, use top of the line hair products, and prices are reasonable. Most importantly it's the barbers ability to cut in such precise detail every single time! I go to them once a week for their hot towel shave for my beard and I come out looking like a front-page GQ magazine. Parties-Weddings-Job interviews-Special Occasions you name it, these guys hook it up every single time!! These barbers specialize in all types of hair. Modern, Trendy, Old-Fashion, etc. Definitely check these guys out, you wont regret it!

I went to Mark a few weeks ago and I honestly can’t say enough good things about him or the shop. Mark is extremely skilled, takes his time, and really listens to what you want — the cut came out exactly how I asked and still looks great weeks later. You can tell he takes real pride in his work. The shop itself is clean, welcoming, and has a great vibe. Everyone was professional and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. This is the kind of place you feel comfortable coming back to every time. Mark definitely earned a repeat customer — I’ll be going back to him moving forward and would highly recommend both Mark and this barber shop to anyone looking for a top-quality cut.

Best barber shop in Lower Manhattan if not all of NYC? I would give them 6 stars if I could. I recently moved into the city and was looking for a place I could go regularly (almost every month). The shop is clean, they do a great job with haircuts (all my friends have some back with similar reviews based on my recommendation), the staff is professional and well trained AND is quite reasonable for NYC!

I’ve always had a good experience at Ray’s and hardly ever wait. I usually go on my lunch during the week so maybe just a good time slot. They give quality haircuts and the price is very fair for what you’d expect in Tribeca.

paid $60 for an uneven haircut that lasted 3 minutes. Very frustrating as I asked them to continue cutting which they did for an additional 30 second before kicking me out of the chair. do not recommend
