Customer Reviews
The server, Kyle, was great. She was able to guide us through our first experience here. We came to celebrate my birthday and we were not disappointed. The food was good, although there were some dishes that could have been lighter on the salt and amount of sauce. The carrots were a bit too drenched to enjoy and the mushrooms were a bit salty. The ravioli was delicious. We went with our typical preference for the ribeye at medium rare temperature, although, the server, suggested medium. Happy that we decided to go with our usual temperature. The steak could have been a bit less charred as I don't like burned food. However, the steak was tasty and perfectly cooked. Our mocktail choices were good. The restaurant is quite loud as there are no barriers between tables and it's a bi
TL;DR: Rare Society delivers a striking atmosphere, excellent sides, and well-executed steaks, but a 75-minute wait for our entrée—without any tangible gesture beyond an apology—dampened what should have been a seamless, premium steakhouse experience. Rare Society understands the theater of a modern steakhouse. The room is dramatic without feeling self-conscious: warm brass archways, globe pendant lights floating overhead, and leather banquettes that encourage you to settle in. With a reservation, we were seated promptly, and service throughout the evening was polished and attentive. Our server struck that ideal balance—knowledgeable without being performative, present without hovering. We opted for The Associate board, a trio featuring filet mignon, Snake River Farms Wagyu tri-tip, and
Went here for a friend's birthday dinner many months ago. The service was stellar, and the atmosphere was very lively (sort of loud). The drinks were delicious, and many of the side dishes were also delicious, but I'm not sure if the steak lived up to my personal expectations. Extremely minimalist as you can see. It seems they follow the philosophy of, "Let the meat speak for itself." which works for extremely naturally flavorful meats like A5 japanese wagyu, but not sure if that works for everything else. Wife had the lollipop lamb chops, which was the absolutely stellar
This place was pretty good. I'm kind of a steak snob so even though I'm giving it 3 stars I would say that the steak was no cooked as requested. Otherwise the high points were the prompt service and courteous staff. That made up for a lot, not that there was a lot to make up for. Overall a very positive experience with the exception of the price over $400 including tip for two people. Not horrible but bj it great lol.
Visiting Snohomish and wanted to try the place this past weekend. I made a reservation approximately 1 week in-advance (for 2 at 8:30pm on Sunday night), and arrived about 10 minutes early. We were seated after couple minutes of waiting, which was nice given our early arrival. After we were seated, our waiter came by several minutes later and advised us that he would be right with us, but then we probably waited for 15-20 minutes before he came back to get our drink order. The restaurant seemed only half full or maybe slightly more than half full, so this was a little surprising, but whatever things happen. By this time we were ready to order food as well, so we did that too. Very disappointed with the service of the waiter at this point and onward. (Except the lady who helped clear th
