Raquels Beauty & barber salon

This was my first experience at this salon and will unfortunately be my last. I had requested a half up half down sew in done before leaving out of town and was assisted by "Boss". He informed me because of the time the price would be $200, which wasn't an issue. While there he did indeed wash and blow-dry my hair and proceeded to do the sew in, as we talked about my plans for the weekend. Once we were finished I should've asked for a mirror because what I came home with was not to my satisfaction. My flight was at 6 am and my hair was done around 10:30 pm the night prior so I got ready and headed straight to the airport after the appointment. I was serviced by the lovely JiNae and she did an amazing job on my hair. I received knotless braids. How ever I did not like the energy of the shop manager Frankie and how she talked to her fellow coworkers. Her attitude was nasty from entering the shop. I also didn’t like how the owner did not step in and handle the situation with clients being there. It was very unprofessional and I expected more from a salon that was highly requested. The treatment towards fellow coworkers do matter. Once being informed it was her daughter I’m not surprised.

Ji'Nae is amazing ❤️ Everyone her is great, super friendly, chill atmosphere, I highly recommend. We are here today getting silk press, clip ins, styling, shampoo & condoning.

Great service! I’ve been here 3 times. Overall with getting my hair done, i’ll continue to go to who services me. However the atmosphere is not professional. Key tips: the owner need to be more professional. Be aware of the music that’s being played and how you communicate to your coworkers. Need to be respectful!

First time coming here and I would choose this salon over and over again!! I shared some concerns with my stylist and she addressed every single one. I showed her a inspo picture and the rest was history. Thankyou TC a million times.
