I will NEVER return and have spread the word of their LACK of customer service and skill. Worst experience I’ve ever had and I’ve been braiding my hair for over two decades. 1) I tried this location for the first time because it is a 24/7 location but I paid the price. I arrived at 6am and did not leave until AFTER 1pm. 2) Medium sized, back length BOX braids, no boho or knotless, should take that long to complete when two people are braiding your hair. 3) After pointing out the braids that needed to be redone because you could clearly see that my hair was sticking out of it, the braider told me that “not everybody can break short hair”. THEN WHY DID SHE EVEN START BRAIDING MY HAIR IF SHE DIDN’T KNOW HOW TO BRAID SHORT HAIR?! She clearly blow dried my hair and saw the length so why would y

I got small knotless boho braids at Rama Beauty African Hair Braiding Lenox NYC and I love how my hair turned out! There were 3 ladies working on my head, and they finished in about 6 hours. The braids are neat, lightweight, and exactly what I asked for. The service was fast and professional definitely an 8/10 experience. I took the train from Springfield, MA, and it was super easy to navigate. If you’re traveling from out of town, it’s worth the trip. The best part? It was only $180 flat any size, any length. Can’t beat that in NYC!

If I could leave no stars I would. I called and texted ahead on Friday trying to make an appointment for the following Wednesday to get passion twists. Via text they confirmed that they would be able to provide the hair for the passion twists and do them for $160. On Wednesday I go for my appointment, and they ask if I have the hair for the passion twists, I say no and show them the text messages where the person I spoke to (Omar?) said that they would provide the hair. They said that I needed to provide the hair, which again I had text messages confirming that they would provide it. The braiders in the shop then tried to tell me they had run out of synthetic hair which is why they couldn’t provide the hair for the twists, they then called another shop to see if they had any hair they coul

Bad service and disappointing experience. I came in with three different colors of human hair (613, 27, and 30) to create a custom, mixed-color look. I explained this to the stylist and even showed her my desired style before she began. Unfortunately, she completely forgot to use the 30 color, which threw off the whole vision. When I brought it to her attention and asked for some of the braids to be redone to include the missing color, she responded with a nasty attitude and said she could only take out two braids. I had to remind her this wasn’t what I asked for. Eventually, she took out a few more braids, but it felt like I had to push just to get what I originally paid for. I understand that mistakes happen — we’re all human — but the way it was handled was unprofessional. If this sal

I hate that I have to give such a bad review because I love my hair but my experience was horrible. I came in and was seated immediately but she tried to convince to do a simpler style because she didn’t want to do the hairstyle I wanted and when I said I could just go to another person or salon she reluctantly started my hair. I had to wait like 15 minutes between each braid for my braider to talk eat and other things. After her stopping my hair to start someone else’s I had to tell her she needed to finish my hair and not hop around because that’s not what I’m paying for. After she finished the front I had another braider come up to me and asked if I would mind waiting because no one in the salon knew how to do twist so someone was coming from another salon. I said ok because I wasn’t wi
