Quadrupedal Bodywork

I had an amazing session with Norell Leung. Immediately had to book my next session. Really loved the cozy ambiance of the space. Parking was easy and instructions helpful. Communication all throughout was very assuring and accommodating. I didn’t think I’d be able to find a local practitioner who I resonated so well with. The quadrupedal technique is like no other. I prefer medium pressure and it was my first time feeling sensation in my extremities the way I hoped to after a massage session. As a massage therapist myself, my body is very impacted so it was nice to feel heard and understood.

This may not be for everyone, but it is absolutely for ME. I have a pretty crappy neck from stupid stuff as a kid and hunching over the computer as an adult so it's my litmus for whether a massage is good or not. The work Norell did on my neck and back it was as though time stopped and I was transported to a temple of restoration, it was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is peaceful and serene and she checked in on occasion to make sure everything was going well. There was a bit of stretching out the limbs and various modalties of pressure applied. Part of me doesn't want anyone to know how great this was, but the human in me wants as many people as possible to enjoy this experience. I would absolutely recommend.

The 90 minute session was amazing from the moment I walked in till I left. Norell greeted me in her spacious lobby and made me feel comfortable right away. Norell and I had brief consultation as it related my sciatica and areas of complaint. The massage session was 5 star. The technique was perfection. Norell was able to loosen knots under my scapula that no other masseuses could do. It was the best massage I have ever had. Norell is professional and caring about her clients. The room was clean and soothing. I highly recommend booking an appointment with Norell.

I’m so thankful to be able to make this review because that is evidence that I’ve had the opportunity to be cared for by Norell. Bodywork? It’s much more like play. Massage? My experience felt more like structural re-harmonizing and spiritual alignment. Whatever words I could use to describe this journey, I’ve never experienced anything like it. It was transformative. The experience lasted for days. My body simply wasn’t the same. I felt like things were coming online and things were rewiring within the circuit boards of my mind, body and spirit. Norell is a Master! This was probably the best massage I’ve had in San Diego. I went in with lower back spasms and left feeling great. I will definitely be making regular appointments!
