Super clean, very efficient and great for the value. Nice little closet for your stuff during the haircut with a small tv to watch. I went in for a trim and it was exactly what I needed at a great cost, considering other local haircuts are upwards of $100. They don't do wash/shampoo, but you don't really need that for a maintenance trim. I'll definitely be back, and might cut my hair more regularly with the QB House easily accessible.
Got a hair cut today here. In the most respectful way, don’t go. I simply asked them to make the sides less hair and not shorten anything. I even showed pictures of how I wanted my haircut to look how it did a few month ago. The lady there end up pulling out a razor and told me it will make me look good. Well it didn’t. The razor not only cut off my side burns that I’ve been growing and also made me look like I’ve got a Mohawk. I’ve never been more embarrassed of my haircut in my life. Simply don’t go if you do not have an easy/simple Japanese style hair. Go somewhere in China town instead if you have longish middle part asian hair. I also was doing walk in and had to wait around 40 minutes. I have gotten $13 hair cuts before that looked better than this $35 hair cut. But I have to say, th
Highly recommend going to Bony, he is always masterful! I’m VERY particular with my hair and he’s one of the very few stylists that always gets it more than perfect. Also so kind and pleasant to speak with, creates a welcoming & understanding environment :) I no longer live in NYC but still came to get my haircut here while I was visiting the city, I know I can always trust my hair with QB!
Being already disappointed in other locations, I decided to give this place a try. It seems like this place is being managed as bad as any other QB in NYC. The wait was more than 30 minutes and the lady doing the haircut (Monday morning, the only employee) didn’t even say hi. To anyone considering coming here, go spend your money elsewhere. This place sadly became a joke. After all the years with QB, it’s time to say goodbye!
I have good and bad experiences in QB House locations, but now I'm glad that I found the most suitable pair of hands for my hair type. If you're hair is straight, stiff, and resilient, Bony would be the right stylist, he's relentless when it comes to understanding what you want and explaining what he understood.
