Q Spa Garden City

I am sorry to be writing this review because I have been a huge member and frequent client of this spa. I was the holder of a gift card for a facial including tip when they closed. I left numerous messages trying to get a response. Not getting a response after several months I discarded the gift card. Then a couple months ago I saw they had changed their name to Q Spa. I have been in email communication with them. But because I no longer have the card, they said if I know the exact amount that they can look it up. It was a gift to me and paid with cash so I did not have the exact amount. THE SPA SAID THEY SOLD 3 but because I don’t have the exact amount, they would honor it. That’s TERRIBLE customer service. Me, as well as my kids, all went there. I am very disappointed.

Never again. This is by far the worst experience I’ve had to get a simple pedicure. The lady was rude, aggressive & didn’t do anything I asked. The water was boiling hot & she didn’t even bother to change it. She rushed to do my pedicure, I asked for another package and she told me she didn’t have time and had other customers waiting. I made an appointment and she rushed the entire pedicure. Also, only ONE person working in the salon! Forgot to mention - she left me mid-pedicure to finish with another customer. Instead of this being a relaxing experience, it was aggravating. I definitely do not recommend this place.

Fantastic place to have a quiet, relaxing massage!! The masseuse I had the last time I visited was Ashley. She was small in appearance, but her hands were strong!! My friends that had massages raved about their masseuse as well. We've been going here for years, give them a try! A little pricey, but they have specials throughout the holidays.

I had great experiences there before, but today was the worst! I had a polish change and a leg wax. When I was paying for my services I told the woman at the desk I wasn't happy with my nails. She said "we're not a nail salon we're a spa " then proceeded to tell me to go to one of the nail salons down the block. Then why do nails?? Leg wax was okay. I will NEVER return just because of her nasty disposition. She had the audacity to ask me if I want to leave a tip for my nails. 🤣🤣.

I've had many experiences with this location. Everything entirely depends on the person you get for your treatment, there is no consistency with bad, good or great service. One thing that is certain, the front desk woman attempts to multitask, is usually short with you and 80% of the time is flat out rude. After about 3 years, it's finally at the point that I am looking for another spa.
