Q NAILS of YUMA

I have come to this location many times each time with a different technician. I have brought family here as well. They were all very happy with their nails. I wanted to write a review because every technician is kind, thorough and professional. I typically get pedicures and will add gel when I feel like it. When I’m feeling like it I will get my nails done as well. The establishment is clean and well maintained. The price is also good for the different services they offer and they offer ALOT! Not happy at all! I made the mistake of telling them I wanted a manicure. I sat in the chair and the nail tech cut my cuticles when I realized I said the wrong service. I wanted a full set. The new tech burned my index finger cuticle area and I have several crooked nails and nail polish I had to clean off. Then they tacked on a $15 charge and said it was for the cuticle trim. Beware of their pricing.

This use to be my spot before I moved.. naturally since being in Yuma, I went in today got a full set and pedicure.. it was super busy but they were able to accommodate me (walk-in). The lovely lady (I didn’t get her name unfortunately), who did my full set was kind and made a sincere effort to carry a conversation, it didn’t feel awkward at all. What really did it for me was during my pedicure, with Alan. He was friendly and social throughout the entire process, communicated with me what to expect from my pedicure, and the best part was he was kind about it!! Majority of the nail salons I go to, they are very rough with the pedicure.. this experience was entirely different. I was able to get into my appointment quickly and Jen was very nice to me. The service in my opinion was way to fast for a standard appointment and definitely rushed. I was charged for a manicure only because my cuticles were dry and needed trimming. It consisted of a warm fragrant towel to clean the hands after the nails were done and rapid lotion application.. within a couple days my nails were no longer shiny and appeared this way. I called today because I have had appointments this week I was gone all day for. I was told I would be charged for nail service because it has been six days. In my life I have never had my nails look like this at any point of stage in regrowth. Genuinely one of the worst places to go to. I asked for acrylic toes and the guy i had said yes then started doing regular gel toes, i corrected and he started looking at me confused, the proceeded to say okay wait there for 15 min. I waited there on the pedi chair for 40 minutes. He literally disappeared i was so lost. After 40 minutes a girl came back and started doing my toes. She acted super rude and kept scoffing like it was such a chore to do my toes. I caught her even rolling her eyes to a coworker about me. I was sooo lost beacuse i was super quiet and compliant the whole time so i never knew what i have had done to her, she kept acting like it was my fault.
