Q Nails

I stopped into Q Nails to get builder gel removed. While Anna did not do my nails, she was so incredibly kind. I only spent $10, but she gave me a $10 coupon to come back and get a pedicure. It was a pleasant visit left me wanting to return.

They have me in an already used Acetone bowl liquid to remove my dip. When I saw the bowl I initially thought that it was different that the liquid had a pink tint. I previously had dip on my nails from my usual salon. I only came because my normal shop was closed. As soon as I came, there was already a bowl with acetone at a station. Anna asked me to sit and soak my nails...I placed my finger in the bowl and rubbed my nails against finger tips to help the soak go quicker....I do this every time. After soaking my skin had a film all over it. I asked to wash my hands and then noticed how bad it was. They gave me alcohol thinking it would rub it off. But it didn't. Don’t not let them near your eyebrows. If you just want a simple cheap pedi go for it. The owner did my eyebrows and said my brows can’t arch because they are too thin. After the first attempt I looked like Bert from Sesame Street. I asked her to please add more of an arch. Bad idea. She said I’ll make it thinner but no complaining. I said I don’t want it thin I want an arch. It was worse so I stopped her while I still had enough brow to get it fixed somewhere else. I don’t want to take anyones bread and butter but I’m looking out for the next person who just wants to do something for themselves. Also I had to pay $7 for my lopsided eyebrows. Anitra at beautybrow rescued me and she only charged $6!

Literally money wasted!! Last minute stop here before NYE because I was in the area. I am really weird when it comes to getting my nails done at random places, but I thought I would try this one since a friend recommended it. The pedicure was fine. The dip on my nails chipped off from the nail bed and the tips just started breaking off one by one. I went back and they offered to fix this issue for free. Well, she charged me $5 because one was completely gone. It’s been 2 days since she fixed them and they are crumbling away like crazy! The ladies are super friendly and I got in really fast, but I just cannot recommend this place. I’m thinking maybe their products are old or just not good. Very poor services. The Deluxe pedi was basic. The old lady at the front did a rush job on my nails and when I asked questions she had a nasty attitude. I DO NOT recommend at all!
