Dr. Monica is truly one of a kind. I came to her with significant neck and jaw issues, to the point where I was afraid to turn my neck because of spasms. I had seen others before, but no one was able to truly identify and address the root cause. She was the first. From the beginning, I felt heard, respected, and completely safe in her care. I reached out to puro movimiento /monica during my second pregnancy. I was experiencing severe lower back pain mostly in my tailbone area, sometimes the pain would be very painful when sitting or lying down. I didn’t experience any pain during my first pregnancy. My son is a HS varsity baseball catcher for a local HS, and during the spring season he sustained an injury/illness that sidelined him for about 4 weeks. Monica worked with him to not just understand his body and why certain areas of his body were weaker than others, but she educated him on what was going on with the muscles and ligaments. Monica created a personalized program to support what his body needed to get back to top shape and finish the season. Overtime, he has been able to increase his metrics on the field. I had lower back pain, I was very stiff and uncomfortable to the extent I could not get dressed or bend down to put on socks.
