PureLux YANGSIGUAN Hair & Scalp Spa

Saw an advertisement on social media and this salon looked amazing, had to try it. I had never done anything like this before. Took about 6 weeks to get an appointment. Getting married soon so thought this would be the perfect thing to help me get ready for my big day. Read lots of reviews before booking my appointment. Had some hesitation but figured I'll take a chance. Paid the $20 deposit fee to get my appointment. There was plenty of parking in the plaza. The salon is upstairs. I was greeted as soon as I came in. I decided to book the 90 minute $138.00 luxury scalp spa. I made sure to ask for someone that spoke fluent English in case I had questions. Amazing head scalp massage!!! Pricey but I came out very doughy eyed after I was done with my 90 minute treatment. The body massage machine was great and the shampoos n oils used in my hair smelled so good and my hair felt great for 2 to 3 days. I ended up getting the package so I could come back again.

I had an incredible experience! The staff were wonderfully friendly, and all the technicians were very nice. I couldn't have asked for more friendly staff. The overall service was out of this world, from the massage table to the scalp and hair massage and treatment. I felt well taken care of, and my technician was very knowledgeable about the type of treatment I needed. She was very friendly. I highly recommend going with friends for a day of pampering. You can't go wrong with getting a head spa massage!

I did not read the reviews before going here but people seem to complain about the ladies being rough on your scalp. Well, mine was not. She def applied enough pressure to the point where it felt pleasurable. The only issue is the massage chair, that was so uncomfortable. When trying to tell the lady to turn off the massage chair, she did not understand and had to call the front desk lady. Everything else was amazing!!

I went to Yangsiguan after seeing an instagram video about it. I made the appointment in January and their first available way May 4th. I was very excited to experience what all the fuss was about. Here's my honest review. I liked it, I didn't love it. I upgraded because I wanted to get all the perks that weren't included in the basic package. The scalp treatment felt very nice and my hair felt clean. The lady cleaning my scalp was very friendly, but didn't speak english, so when I asked her what all these tools did, she couldn't tell me. So that was a disappointment. I am glad I tried it but I wouldn't do it again. I spent $170 for someone to clean my hair. All the fuss is just that, fuss.
