Update 8/10/25. 1245pm: ill start by saying Purelux nails reached out being super apologetic and taking ownership of my experience. They offer different option on ways to fix my experience. I decided to take them up on fixing my nails. Im totally satisfied with them now, the owner was the one to service me. He also informed me that quick actions were taken. The contaminated wax was discarded and employee was removed from services until further training. I really appreciate Purelux for taking the time to acknowled my concerns. I updated the review by 2 stars because they've taken quick action to fix the problem. As a thank you they offered a free fill on them. start by saying i was a walk in. I came in to get a Gel X refill for my upcoming birthday and left incredibly disappointed and in pain. I paid nearly $100 for a set I didn’t like or asked for. I paid extra for cat eye—which ended up being just a glitter gel base with no cat eye effect (upon further inspection at home, I also realized the polish isn’t applied all the way to the edge of the nails- see photo). The nail tech suggested adding designs to a couple of accent nails which I wasn’t planning on getting, but agreed to with the hopes of the addition improving the overall set. I ended up really not liking the extra design and was charged extra for them. I will own that one as it is on me for not saying no, just something to be aware of. On top of that, I paid extra for a cuticle treatment that left two of my cuticles

Just got my nails done and the nail tech really did a great job. I just moved here from Texas and I’m use to getting my nails dipped but this time I just needed a acrylic refill. It’s hard to trust a new nail tech (even though I don’t get anything complicated) but I really do like the young lady who did my nails. She got the color closest to what I wanted and the shape is PERFECT! Honestly I was not sure at first but she did a great job at winning me over and that deserves to be recognized! Thank you

First time at this salon- the first thing that I noticed was that it was not very clean and the staff was not super friendly. I was handed the menu and was pleased to see they advertised 20% Mon-Fri if you buy a service $55 or more. I opted for the lemongrass detox pedicure with gel. My tech scraped too hard on the side of my foot and drew blood, and did not acknowledge it at all. Regardless, the pedicure was fine and I liked my nail tech, but when it came to pay they rung me up at full price. I asked about the 20% and the guy didn’t know what I was talking about. I told him it was on the menu, so he went to ask someone else. Another woman came up and told me that the 20% off was their September special and now that it’s October 2nd they don’t have any 20% off special now. I reiterated tha
