Went in for a relaxing massage and walked away with a bruises back. I’ve had my fair share of deep tissue massages and never have I left in so much pain. At one point I asked my massage therapist Sonja to “ please use half her current pressure” for the remainder of my massage and she proceeded to keep using effectively the same pressure. I told her four separate times that her pressure was too much and she was hurting me and she never changed. And when she was finally done with my back and she had me turn over on the table, she genuinely said the phrase “ Are you glad the torture is over?” Don’t get me wrong she definitely worked some knots out of my back and there were parts of the massage that were enjoyable but I would say just over half of the massage was pain and now I am struggling t

I went to Pure Skin Spa before a vacation for a spray tan. I was nervous because they always turn out a little weird looking on me. They were so sweet and Michelle made me feel so comfortable with a great experience and a great spray. However it didn’t fade well. I booked another visit for this morning. This morning there was a call out at my work and I had to go to work and cancel my appt. I let them know as soon as I got that call. Before open hours even. I was told that there would be a 50% fee for not canceling two days in advance. I had no idea I would have cancel until this morning when something unforeseeable happened. I had the BEST massage of my life at Pure Skin Spa. Sonja worked out some serious knots and I felt better put together after the massage....actually I felt like I was floating, blissed OUT. I have also never had the benefits of a massage last for so long...I felt so good for days. You have to be okay with DEEP TISSUE if you request it (which I did)....My BFF also had a massage with Sonja and felt it was the best she's every had....I would say the massage was the highlight of our trip to Napa!

If you want a facial that is amazing, definitely book one with Michelle at Pure Skin. So relaxing with added feet and hand massages. It was wonderful! I will definitely be doing them more often!!!

I had an incredible deep tissue massage at Pure Skin Spa with Sonja! From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere was so calming and welcoming. Sonja was amazing — she really took the time to listen to my concerns and focused on the areas that needed the most attention. Her technique was firm but intuitive, and I left feeling so much lighter and more relaxed. If you’re looking for a truly therapeutic massage, I can’t recommend Sonja and Pure Skin Spa enough.
