The Parlor

I had an amazing experience with Kaye Jay at The Parlor in Napa Valley! She did an incredible job with my hair color, it turned out even better than I imagined. She listened to what I wanted and made sure every detail was perfect. I love how my hair looks and feels! My daughter and I have both had haircuts here recently from Amy Carson and Kaye Jaye. Both stylists are professional and kind and skilled, my hair looks fab. Had a weird interaction with the receptionist who seemed put out that I was calling to contact Amy Carson. She said she had nothing to do with the professional stylists, only the students. The scheduling system does not make it easy to directly contact a stylist, how else am I going to send the stylist a message?

I got my hair done by Amy and I had such a wonderful and calm experience. She was really polite and helpful with assisting me with what I needed. She gave me a perfect haircut, which was exactly what I asked for! I have trouble being in social situations because I get really bad anxiety but I felt very welcomed and safe here.

We met Amy and she worked with my autistic teen (who is verbal & cooperative). My teen was getting her first shaping haircut after having several feet of hair. She loved the result & we appreciate Amy's warm demeanor and attention to detail. We will be regulars for Amy. I'm bringing my other daughter back to Parlor for cut and color. Update: took my other autistic teen (verbal & cooperative) in for cut and very first color ever and Amy knocked it out of the park! With her talent she's bound to be fully booked as she continues to practice her art. We will be regulars!

Carrin was negative, making me cancel my appointment. All I wanted to clarify was the cost, and the response I received from my stylist was snarky and rude. Update 4/20/25: I attempted again and I have to say I have officially met "my" stylist! Amy is everything I want in a professional and more! We vibed so well, she wasn't afraid to take up a challenge, and is so bubbly! A true jem, and I left feeling more like myself than I have with any stylist in my life!!!! I have so much bounce and body to my hair! Amy, I will only go to you for all of my hair needs!
