Proper Salon for Men

As a customer that frequents here, I can honestly say that Alexandria (Lexie) is one of the best hair stylists/barbers I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. She’s thorough and professional and always asks what you want done before she gets started.

This is one if not the best men salons in New Braunfels! I love the atmosphere and the employees. Service is always great and my haircuts are worth the price! I always choose Megan (who is amazing) but all are great! So have a complimentary drink while you wait, and get a great cut at the Proper Salon for Men!

I recently discovered The Proper Salon for Men, and boy, am I glad. This is no buzz and go in ten minutes shop. They take the time to style your hair so that it looks great long after you’re gone, and they pamper you while you’re there. The Proper treatment isn’t cheap, but without a doubt worth it. I use Megan and she does a fantastic job. If you are looking for an upscale barber shop with a cool vibe, give it a try.

Professional haircuts and friendly staff who carry great conversations. I always search for a barber who I can consistently rely on, and for me Kayla has become that person. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

I scheduled a beard trim earlier in the day and arrived early out of respect for their time. Unfortunately, they ran about 25 minutes behind, and by the time they were ready for me, my son’s haircut was almost finished. They did apologize and offer to still take me, but at that point I was too frustrated to stay. I appreciate the quality of their work, but I do wish the same importance placed on client punctuality was shown in respecting clients’ time as well.
