I have been trying to find a barber that does an exceptional job, doesn’t cost an arm and leg, and is also a good vibe!! Urban checked all of those boxes! His spot is a cool trendy spot and only going to get better with time! Attention to detail was phenomenal and unlike most barbers I’ve dealt with in the past he wasn’t snobby at all; just a cool vibe type of guy! I highly recommend Urban and I will be back for haircuts in the future👍🏼

Got a great cut from Urban at The Outpost Barbershop! He’s a true New Braunfels local who knows his craft. Super friendly and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve had, all at a very reasonable price! The shop is right in the heart of downtown, easy to get to since it’s just upstairs from the Phoenix Saloon. Inside, it’s got a small, intimate vibe with a lot of vintage furniture and decor that really sets the place apart. If you’re looking for a solid cut in a cool, laid-back setting, definitely check this place out.

Best haircut I’ve had in years, on a few different levels. For one, very reasonable price AND a lot of time dedicated. To put it in perspective, the last time I got my haircut (at a nice place mind you) I paid almost twice as much for a fourth of time. Urban is clearly knowledgeable and skilled in what he does, and was curious about my input along the way. To top it all off, the space is nice and relaxing, in a historic building with a cool view of downtown NB. My new go-to spot, highly recommend.

After moving across the country and leaving my barber of many years behind, I was a bit nervous about starting over with someone new. Urban spoke with me about my hair texture and look and recommended a cut. I have to say it’s the freshest, best haircut I’ve had in a long time. He takes his time, pays attention to every detail, and has great dining and drinking recommendations to boot. Found my new barber on the first try and looking forward to many great cuts.
