Proactive Massage + Bodywork

I have been going to see James for the past year or so, after purchasing a membership at the start of 2025. He is a miracle worker! I’ve left each session feeling like I’m on cloud 9, and issues ranging from neck stiffness to sleep difficulties noticeably improve every time I see him. I’ve also used the cold plunge before several of my massage appointments, and really enjoy that as a way to start my sessions out. Highly recommend.

I provided feedback after my experience but never heard back, so here we are on google. I was a new client, did the paperwork ahead of time, and arrived 15 mins early. Pros: wonderful and kind front office staff, easy to book appts and pay, super clean facility, pleasant waiting room Cons: - My therapist brought me back 5 mins late (even though I arrived early?) - When she asked me what I wanted to do, I replied I’d never had a massage before so what did she mean (thinking type of massage). She snapped back that I had to pick 1-2 body parts because I only booked a 30 minute massage. Fine. Sorry? I told her my neck and if she had time, my feet. - She said she would “leave me to get undressed”, which I said no worries I didn’t need to change (and, knowing I had already a shortened massage)

Booked a 90 minutes massage with Emily. I went in with significant tightness and discomfort. She listened to my concerns and provided extra attention and focus to my problem areas. I left feeling so much better than when I arrived.

I have been looking to find a regular therapist in the area for the last 2 months and booked a massage with Robert today. As someone who sits at a desk all day, I look for someone that can focus on my neck, shoulders and back. We chatted before starting the massage and he let me know he’s specialized in these areas with other clientele who sit at desks. His technique was exactly what I’d been looking for! His professional manner and skillset left me feeling relaxed and relieved from pain. I’m looking forward to my next session.

Absolutely loved both of my experiences here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The space feels clean, warm and inviting. It’s extremely easy to book online and the front desk staff is helpful and supportive. Pricing feels reasonable and they are never pushy or trying to sell you so you truly get to leave feel relaxed and ready to book with them again!
