I had a horrific experience here as a customer for the keratin hair treatment with the stylist Mert also known as Matt. The advertised price was $90, which I paid in advance. At checkout, Mert demanded a $70 extra charge because I had “long hair.” My hair is just past my shoulders, and he never discussed that before. This is unethical as this charge was not discussed upfront, but demanded at checkout time. And it was almost $90, the price of the service itself, which is a joke. Long hair charges are $20-$25 at most in this industry. Matt seems aware that no one would consent to a $70 hair charge upfront, because he will only spring it after the treatment is done. I have been working with Matt and I must say, its always an amazing experience. Matt always listens attentively to my concerns and talks me through the entire process, ensuring that I am comfortable with every step. Not only did they do a great job with my hair, but they also provided me with valuable tips on how to maintain my hair's health and recommended products that were actually useful. I appreciated that they didn't try to push any products on me, but instead, took the time to understand my hair type and needs before making any recommendations. Matt worked on my hair and I could not be happier! My first time at the salon, he explained how the keratin treatment would help my hair and made me feel so comfortable about getting it done!
