I wish I found Elvira sooner! She cut my hair a few weeks ago and shes the best! She’s so nice and really truly cares about you and your hair! I won’t be going anywhere else! She’s very knowledgeable all things makeup hair and beauty! I need to take her with me everywhere 🤣

Elvira has been styling my hair since 2016. My hair is is medium fine in texture, has a mixed curl pattern, and there is a lot of it. I have recently been wearing it shorter, but it has been well past my shoulders. She is the only stylist who has been able to cut my hair no matter the length so that it looks amazing styled natural or straightened.

I'm pleased of the first class service i received when visiting Mrs. Elvira. She is by far one of the most talented individuals I've met. Her knowledg of hair surpasses many other hair salon stylist. I am most grateful to have such a competent individual. To service my hair needs here in Havelock! Pray even more blessings upon her business as she continue to serve others!

I truly thought this was a great salon to visit, however I was sadly mistaken. Unfortunately, consultations will not assist you with ensuring that you receive the services you want. Please also be prepared to pay more than is discussed, as charges seem to be tacked on often. I really wanted to like this salon but likability does not equate to good service. I was informed that a service could be done at the consultation, however, after “completing” the service I was told that I would need another session to achieve the look I want, which was nowhere near blonde. And the current color looks nothing like the desired color. My extensions are also ruined and look nothing like my hair although they were left at the shop for 2 weeks. I was told that “this isn’t the right type of hair to color” al

I absolutley LOVE Prevailing Salon. I love the atmosphere and how me and my daughters get our hair done at the same time in a timely manner. This place is truly a blessing as a military wife!
