Oh my, where to start. The news part of the publication is primarily imported articles from AP. It never varies. The local coverage is adequate and the primary reason that l pay for the digital version. Speaking of the digital version. There is an option to comment on most articles an opinion pieces. The problem lies with the inadequate and inconsistent moderating practices. There are several bully-type commenters that are allowed to violate "kind and respectful tone" and "no political hostility" on a daily basis. Nothing is done. Those in charge of moderating (the IT people) say "our system is not perfect". Sorry, that is not an answer one should expect from professionals. They cannot adjust the moderating guidelines? They cannot instruct their Al vendor, ViaFoura, to step it up? Commente

I’ve been keeping post of Alina Flores and her research and I don’t appreciate a magazine being so condescending to exemplary citizen ! It is a socialist tendency is why Americans are no longer advertising. We get much value to Alina and therefore we don’t recommend or endorse your leftist liberal socialist Marxist journalist. These articles in your magazine are unfair and our typically unfounded and rooted and only socialist behaviors and very unamerican

I love the Press Democrat - we've had a subscription for YEARS. However, I'm super frustrated about not being able to read articles that I come across online without logging in. Also, apparently I can't read any from Sonoma or Petaluma because we don't have a specific subscription to those - grrrr.

The PD itself is fine. It's those darn half front pages that are very, very annoying.

There were so many typos in the Sat paper! Did they lay off all the copy editors?
