Gavin always gives me the best cuts. Really skilled with scissors and actually listens to what style you want. This place is a gem especially for curly hair.

I got a cut from Jack and it was pretty awful. His technical skills are great but he’s very rough, inattentive, and not good with communication. He has a slow response time and his pricing is straight up a scam. He’s there to give you the haircut he wants, not what you ask for. I told him I wanted to grow my hair out and he chopped nearly everything off on the sides, giving me a mullet. I’m sure he’s probably better with straight hair, but he didn’t seem to understand thick, coarse, curly hair. He put product in my hair I didn’t want without asking me, forcing me to wash my hair that day to get rid of the bad product. He also took breaks randomly to just watch tv. Overall he’s not a bad stylist but his pricing is wild.

Gavin gave me the best haircut I have ever gotten in my life. He gave me a couple of suggestions to accommodate my face shape while also leaving enough length during the cut to see whether or not I wanted to go shorter, which I appreciated. Overall super friendly guy who knows his stuff.

After letting my hair grow out for 5 months, I wanted to try a middle part flow. I’d seen videos of Jack cutting the hair of some of the best barbers in LA, so I figured this was the place to go. He didn’t disappoint—the cut turned out amazing! It looks great, feels great, and is exactly what I wanted. Couldn’t be happier.

Got a haircut with Jack Louii and was in pain the whole time! Very rough and not considerate about the client. Brushed my head way too hard where my scalp was hurting and even burned my scalp with the hair blower not even an apology. My first and last haircut here.
