Great shop and generally no wait, cash only and don't forget to tip, great service

The place was very pleasant. The people were very nice. Also the haircut was cheap. With that said at some point the elderly need to retire. The barber was a gentlemen but not at the top of his game anymore. Even Micky Mantle retires. After I went home and showered I went to shave and realized when I put my glasses on I could see that he completely shaved off my sideburn on one side and the other side I still had my sideburn as it should be. That is just not acceptable. It’s not like one side was a little more. It was totally shaved off. I am sorry I had to leave this review but I depend on fair reviews as others do as well.

Jack is the man! Portobello barbers is a great balance of classic and modern. The razor with warm shaving cream is the best. I’ve gotten my hair cut by most of the barbers there and they all did a great job, but Jack nails it every time.

John has been cutting my hair for twenty five years now. I live on the other side of town now but still make the drive over because he does an amazing job. Highly recommended.

I came in 3 weeks ago for a haircut and the lady cutting my hair butchered it severely. I had to wait for Vicky to come back because I'd went in before she came on shift at 9:00 a.m. I got there at 8:30. So since I had her number I messaged her and worked out a time that I was going to come up. They explaining that I had a bad experience the last time that I should have waited for her and that I hope that she could fix my hair, she then did not trim down my hair all the way to where I had flyaways everywhere scattered throughout my head. She took the hair above my ear, the thumb with above the hairline and then cut the top part of my cowlick that she's been trying to have grow out for months and then would not take responsibility for it. When I came back a week later to have it fixed then
