Pleasant Hills Barber Shop

I previously left a different review, but after today's experience, I'm thrilled to give Pleasant Hills Barber Shop five stars. This family-owned business has been a community staple since the early 1900s, and it's easy to see why. I recently had an issue, but the owner personally reached out to me and was an absolute gentleman. His dedication to resolving the problem was impressive. Lauren has been cutting my hair for years, and I've always been happy with her work. The prices are competitive, and the service is top-notch. Best Barbers ever! When you walk in you are greeted with a smile. Paris is the newest barber and cut my son’s hair! Best cut ever! She listened to what he wanted and was friendly while doing so. All the barbers in this shop are a cut above the rest especially from what I have seen in Pittsburgh. Definitely going back!

I wouldn’t go here. Their best barber by a mile, Rob, is no longer working there, and I’ve booked with three other barbers currently at the shop due to scheduling reasons when I was a customer. I get a mid bald fade and am almost shocked at how poor and choppy the fade looks each time. This past haircut I got from Paris was shockingly terrible. I wouldn’t waste your money unless you get something super basic. I’m glad my hair will grow back but my goodness. Please go somewhere else.

Went in for a certain haircut, showed pictures and discussed the style cut I wanted. I wanted the hair on the top and back the same length with a fade along the sides about a half inch from my ears from front to back. Ended up with the fade about 3 inches up my ears and the back of my head shaved all the way down. As the top of my head was never touched. Very upset the cut is way shorter than I have ever gotten and the back of my head is pretty much bald when I requested my hair the same length from front to back…. …… WAY OFF….

Awesome atmosphere! I was scheduled with Paris and I was running late, she was nice enough to still take me as soon as I showed up! Hands down, she is an amazing barber and I won't go anywhere else.
