Planet Color is a hidden gem right off Route 30 in Frankfort. All the stylists in the shop are very qualified and professional. I see Eric, and he is fantastic! He always listens to how I want my hair done and gives great suggestions. I am always happy when I leave this cozy salon!

After receiving a bad haircut at another salon on Friday, Planet Color Salon fit me in Saturday afternoon with Nick. Everyone was so nice and friendly when I walked in and told me I was in the right place to fix my hair. I was thrilled to hear that Nick is also amazing with undercuts. Prior stylists did the very minimum to its upkeep which always made it look grown out and so basic. I didn’t expect him to do anything with the undercut since they generously fit me in last minute but he didn’t hesitate to give me the best undercut I have ever had! He has such a comfortable and relaxing vibe to top it off. Before he started, he gave me an amazing shampoo. After he fixed my hair, he surprised me by styling my hair beautifully! I am so disappointed that I haven’t found Planet Color sooner. BUT

Nick did me so dirty. When I went to see him I had nice about 15" of virgin hair. I wanted vidids. He literally turned all the hair off my head and even burned my scalp. A LOT. When I showed him how much hair I had FALL OUT or break off he did nothing. I have to get extensions now because my hair is almost gone. He has IGNORED all attempts of getting ahold of him. He has not even apologized. DO NOT trust him with your hair. I spent around 2k on getting my hair done by him 3x in 9 months... And now he's a ghost. Hasn't offered to help me in any way or even tried to say sorry when I messaged him. He will DESTROY your hair and then just ignore you. I repeat DO NOT TRUST HIM. everyone else there is fantastic though.

Don’t waste your time. I’m sorry I gave this pace so many chances. Anytime you have to have your hair corrected 2-3 times over basic highlights something has to be wrong. It’s a family tan business with no computer system to organize appointments. Phantom phone calls and It’s also unsettling when your stylist asks his dad what color to use 😳 Their calling system is severely disorganized. I told them over 3 times my hair has a natural red, don’t use anything that turn my blonde highlights an orange. I left with my highlights orange. It just took 3 hours to get that awful organs out of my hair. All because Nic has to ask his dad what to do and doesn’t listen to his client. I am wondering if everyone there has a cosmetology license? I was fooled as the family seems nice to only find out tha
