New Location (New Photos!) Across the street now. Looking for the perfect, no-nonsense, comfortable, authentic barbershop? This place is it. Easy to get to, easy parking. Calm and warming, like the owner himself. Frankly I’ve gotten tired of corporate barbers that require apps, waiting rooms, and TV screens lining the walls. Aren’t you? Tired of getting people you don’t have a rapport with, people who could care less. This barber shop is very homey like in the old days. Reminds me of the one I grew up with. The owner is very positive, always a smile, and he remembers how you like it. No waiting, no nonsense. That’s really it. No nonsense. Just comfortable, like an old soft shoe. To the Tiffany lamps, to the large windows, this place is the hometown place. I travel 45 minutes to get here.

I have been going to Pilgrim Barber shop for several years, since I moved to the Agawam area. Sharif is pleasant and friendly and he always does a great job on my hair! I very much recommend Pilgrim and Shariff. Price just went up to $35, but I think worth it!

I had a great experience bringing my 9-year-old son for a haircut at Pilgrim Barbershop today. He was long overdo for a cut with school pictures next week. Sheref, the owner, was extremely welcoming and friendly. The whole experience was quick and easy and my son's hair looks great. He even showed me how to style it while he was doing it. We will definitely be going back!

Not a good place for a small, anxious child. If you can’t do a good job for the service you’re being paid for - don’t agree to do it!! Husband came with our 2 year old son, who started crying and was scared of the clippers. Instead of switching to scissors, barber still proceeded to use the clippers and quickly did the haircut through the screaming. Not only did the haircut come out awful and embarrassing, but our son was left with multiple knicks and scratches from the clippers around his ears and neck! The hair was different lengths all around, sideburns were completely shaved off, hairline was crooked and too short compared to the rest of the hair. I had to get this “haircut” fixed by someone who used scissors and my child was calm and content through the whole process. Poor boys hair s
