i’ve been here for only a total of 2x and my first experience with christine was great i had a haircut + wash and it came out to be about $30-$40 with tip! however the second time i came in she wasn’t here so i ended up being taken in with Jinny. i asked for the same thing as i did with christine (layers for medium length) and everything was fine for the most part. she styled my hair and checked me out but this time i was charged $60?? that’s 2x the amount as i was charged last time for the same thing. whatever, but she then asked for a tip and i was like… okay.. i was being overcharged but i tipped $8 on it anyways. that was my first mistake. it seems like a lot of the reviews here about jinny are that she overcharges and pressures for a tip but honestly not to be rude but she really does

I get my haircut here from Tae, and he’s phenomenal with great customer service. First time I went was a few months ago… I was looking to change my hair to a different style; however, my hair wasn’t long enough and Tae washed my hair and showed me how to style it and told me to come back later when my hair grows out. He didn’t charge me… he’s just a really honest person. I’ve gotten few haircuts from him so far and am happy with the service he provides every time.

Update- the stylist offered to fix it for me but I declined the offer. He was very nice about it and I appreciate it. Went today to get a hair cut and at first I thought I loved it because I was only able to see the front side and it does look nice from the front, but the stylist didn’t show me the back of the head to see how it came out. I asked for short layers with volume and with short space in between the lawyers- when I got home and checked the back of my hair I really disliked how there’s a long bottom layer that looks like it doesn’t flow with the top layers. I’ve read that they don’t do good with haircuts especially if your hair is not pin straight hair but I’ve been here 3 times and I’ve had a decent experience but it was for coloring my hair and cutting it short at zero degree.

I LOVE Pika Pika. The atmosphere is super cool and so are the people that work there. I’ve been going for years getting my hair colored and treated by Julie. She is the best colorist in Georgia hands down. I’ve had every hair color you can imagine and she always manages to keep my hair integrity in great condition. She consults me about the potential risks and suggests healthy alternatives and assures me what she is capable of. I trust no one else with my hair and I will continue to go and refer anyone I know that is looking for a great hairstylist/colorist. I’ve also gotten a hair cut by Juno and he is AMAZING with sheers. Seriously amazing. Highly recommend this salon.

I had originally called to book just a trim since my hair was damaged and is thick, but when I arrived it was busy and an error had happened so I wasn’t on their schedule. I was a little disappointed, but no problem. I called back the next morning to re-schedule, and since I had more time decided to get a color and cut as well. I had gotten my hair bleached and toned (to a grey/silver balayage) at a different place earlier this year, but the color had faded back to blonde. My stylist was Jian, who did an incredible job. She cut the area that was dry/damaged off, put in thin layers, gave me curtain bangs, toned my hair, and styled it with waves. I wasn’t sure if I would need to bleach it again first to make it light enough for the toner, but they said I didn’t have to, which was good so my
