Pigtails & Crewcuts: Haircuts for Kids - Ocala, FL

My son’s barber is out for a bit so we decided to try Pigtails & Crewcuts- Ocala. He was way overdue for a cut and of course we’re nervous about trying a new place. Everything was very clean and staff greeted us upon arrival. TV was going and my son got to pick which chair he wanted to sit in. We requested his typical cut and described it the best way possible. Short enough for a certain style but long enough for a Mohawk. Logan, who was his stylist, did a fabulous job and absolutely exceeded our expectations! Logan was very patient with him, directing him as she went and letting him know what she would be doing as next step. My son was thrilled with his cut, as are we! Logan and the crew at Pigtails definitely gained a new customer and made it easier for us and less stressful to return

HORRIBLE RUNNN!!!!! Took my son in there for a cut already had a previous mullet. Ask for somebody that was familiar with doing the mullet. She was very confident she knew what she was doing.I made myself clear on what I wanted even showed her a picture. She did absolutely nothing that I asked and to top it off I told her do not touch his baby curls. They’re gone.😢😢 The entire time I was asking her questions and she seemed so sure she was doing what I asked literally wanna cry right before Christmas when we’re taking pictures. This is what his hair looks like. Do not waste your money here.

Such a great experience! It was completely worth every penny. Haircuts have always been major stress for both of us until this The stylist was calm and patient. My son’s needs and wants. He is now and wish I’d found it when he was little

We had a very disappointing experience here. When booking online, it indicated that the stylist spoke Spanish, which was important to us. However, she spoke only English the entire appointment, which made communication more difficult than it needed to be. We also paid for the sensory package to make the visit more comfortable, even though our son does not have special needs — we simply wanted to ensure a calm experience. During the haircut, the stylist repeatedly complained about being hit, even though he was clearly just scared. He was not being aggressive — he was anxious like many children are during haircuts. To make things worse, she cut his hair much lower in the front after we specifically asked her not to. On top of that, she made comments comparing his behavior to other children,

I took my daughter today for her first cut aka a trim. I read all the reviews and made an appointment with Logan. Hands down Logan was amazing and helpful with my hair plus all my questions. My daughter is very active and doesnt sit still, Logan talked to her and explained everything she was doing. All the staff was so nice and kind. I will be back for sure. Thank you Logan and all the staff for an amazing first visit.
