Went for a mani/pedi with Lena (regular polish for toes and gel for fingers). She pretty much trimmed and prepped 5 toes for polish in 5 minutes of sitting. I told her wait, that's too fast. My current Salon does better. She explained her technique, went back and tried to pick around my toes some more, enough to show that she was trying. Overall, the polish looked good. Then she did my gel manicure. I told her how to prep my nails (techniques from previous salons) else it will peel off. She responded by using a solution from a brown bottle insisting it would do the trick. It did not. Two days later, my nails were chipped and peeling off for Christmas day—$75. This BEAUTIFUL nail spa is a hidden gem in Frederick, but definitely worth discovering. Nestled inside Westridge Square between H Mart and Crunch Fitness, this is one of the nicest nail salons I've ever seen.

Long review…. I’m soo sad about my nails.😪 They look like veneers. So let me tell you their first offense…. I came in with green cateye nails. She first had me soak off in a bowl w/ acetone and cotton. My polish was chipping off into the cotton ball… why did she take my dirty cotton ball, and put it in a bottle to reuse for the next customer?!!!! That’s nasty. Then she tried to drill off the rest of the polish. There was still alot of green polish on my nails (not done at this place) She attempted to start putting the nails on and I told her, “hey can you pls drill off the rest of the polish before you do this because I still see a lot left over on my nails.” She disregarded that and said, “it doesn’t matter It’ll be okay there’s no more.” Then when she started applying the acrylic surpr

THE worse nails I have ever gotten done in my life! It was lumpy. The color was off. She didn’t even put enough acrylic on the nail which is why 1 broke in the middle of her filing the nail. I’m sorry never again. I called ahead of time to make sure they do long nails because I know not all the nail salon can do it! $75 down the drain! Unbelievable.

I went to Phanxico this morning for a gel manicure and pedicure, and I had a wonderful experience. Lena did my nails, and she did an amazing job! She took her time, paid great attention to detail, and made sure everything turned out exactly the way I wanted. She was just as careful with my pedicure, she cleaned my toenails really well and even gave my legs a light massage, which felt great. The salon itself is very clean and beautifully decorated, and they are friendly too. They offered me a bottle of water, which was a nice touch. I did not pay for the water, it was on the house. Overall, I had such a relaxing time. I’ll definitely be coming back!
