Customer Reviews
I've been getting my haircuts from Pete for over three years now, and I can confidently say he gives the best haircuts in State College. As an Asian, it's often challenging to find a good barber in the US, but Pete definitely knows what he's doing. Over these three years, he has consistently delivered the best quality haircuts. Pete is the only barber I trust in the US. Not only is he exceptionally skilled, but he's also incredibly friendly and creates a welcoming atmosphere in his shop. The music he plays is always great, adding to the overall experience. I'll miss him and his fantastic service. Highly recommended!
Overall-very satisfied with the haircut! I’ve never had a barber type notes in his computer for how I like my hair cut-which means Pete takes his work serious. Clean shop and very professional and a good cut-worth the $30. I would go back to him again!
I have been Pete's costumer for almost 4 years, ever since I came to live in State College. Like my father, who used the same barber for 20+ years, I expect more than a haircut from a barber, and Pete delivers. He is not only very skilled and meticulous when cutting hair, he also makes for excellent conversation, and the half hour appointments just fly by. I definitely see myself being his costumer and friend for many years. I highly recommend him.
Pete has a great process for new clients who can set aside all the internet-propagated face shape nonsense and just tell him what they want. He'll measure things meticulously, write everything down, and actually listen to what your needs are. He explains all the barber terminology in a friendly way so you can communicate better. Then he makes it all happen. I got a great haircut and found it to be the least stressful visit to a barber, ever, thanks to his process and communication skills.
Super unprofessional and zero flexibility with scheduling. I will happily find another barber in town. Do not recommend!!!!
