We booked a partial highlights appointment for my wife through Groupon as we’re heading out on vacation. This was her second visit to the salon—her previous experience with a haircut there a few years ago was great, which gave us confidence to return. Unfortunately, this time was a complete disappointment. It seems like going through Groupon may not have been the best choice, possibly because salons have to take a cut on those deals. Still, as paying customers, we expected a service that delivered visible results. Instead, my wife was told that partial highlights would be “subtle” and was encouraged to upgrade to balayage for an extra $30. Found Alicia through Groupon & brought my bonus daughters in for back to school color. One had never had highlights and was unsure of the results. Her sister and I loved it instantly & let her know how gorgeous she looked. Alicia tuned right in and offered to darken it if it didn’t grow on her in a day or 2 which I thought was very kind:) They love their hair & we will be scheduling again❤️

This was my first visit to Alicia. She has a calm, welcoming demeanor, and listened carefully to my needs. She was the first stylist in quite some time, who listened when I asked for visible highlights, not blended. I love my result. My haircut is great too and I’ll definitely be back to see her.
