UPDATE: This salon's response to my honest review was just more evidence of why they deserve one star. So many excuses and lies told! On the call after my appointment, my stylist admitted to not cutting my hair the best way to achieve what I was looking for so instead of being honest, they tried to flip it on me claiming that I was satisfied with my hair and thanked her multiple times which is NOT TRUE. I expressed multiple times after that I was not happy with it and requested a refund. She offered to re-cut my hair while I was visiting in town but I never heard back from her, which was probably a blessing in disguise. Also blaming my hair looking the way it did because of my incident after they "styled" it was just another excuse because she said she cut the tips off that were fried so

i normally never make reviews but i've been thinking on it so i decided i will. got a curly haircut from here a little while ago i cant remember the stylists name but she was very sweet but, i asked for NOT short layers and to keep as much length as possible since i had long curly hair. she agreed and said she would cut some than ask if the length was okay a long the way which she did not. now im normally one to just not care because hair grows back and I’ve never had my hair cut before at all in my life so i was excited to try something new but i was genuinely upset as my hair was SUPER uneven and one side was way longer than the other, she basically gave me a rats tail which was long in the back and REALLY short for the sides. on top of that she basically gave me a short wolf cut which

Parlor is the best salon in Richmond for textured and curly hair! I’ve got very long, very thick, very curly hair and have been coming to Parlor for 1.5 years now. Mahri and Kasey have always done a fantastic job on my cuts and color. I’d trust any of their mavens with my hair and will keep coming back as a regular. Would and already do recommend to my curly friends!

Absolutely love Parlor Salon. Mahri did my daughter's hair & she left loving her hair & feeling confident. Mahri educated myself & my daughter on how to properly care for her hair. So thankful we found such an amazing stylist. Everyone in the salon were absolutely fabulous! I would definitely recommend Parlor Salon for all of the amazing curly girlies out there!

I can’t say enough good things about this salon! Mahri has helped me maintain my curls for over 5 years now and I definitely have her to thank for how healthy my hair is. The entire staff is so kind, caring, and talented! I 10000% recommend this place to all my curly/natural folks for both cuts/styling and color!
