I can’t completely express the sincere level of disappointment in this cut. I’ve grown my hair for six months and was hoping to get a decent haircut. Amanda pulled out the clippers and proceeded to (“…just clean it up a bit so it can grow out into the longer cut you want”) cut across the top of my ear about 2 inches of length. I kept waiting for her to grab the spray bottle and shears but she did both sides and never asked me if it was ok, never offered a mirror, never offered an opinion. When she began spraying the bottle on the top I thought “ok now maybe it’ll be a bit more normal” but she used the shears maybe a minute on top, maybe.She never pulled up my hair from different angles like I’ve had done in the past. Their website claims they accept walk-ins, so I walked in. The receptionist told me the wait would be 15 minutes to an hour. I waited an entire hour without a single update. When I finally asked what was going on, she casually said no one might take me at all. Completely unprofessional and inattentive customer service — she was perfectly fine letting me sit there until almost closing time without saying anything. Total waste of time and very disappointing experience.

Had great experiences over there. Been going here since 2021. The place is very professional. I highly recommend making an appointment before going to the shop because 3/10 times, if you walk in, you'll be on a waiting list because they are pretty full with their clients. My two barbers are Karim and Clay; both are very good at their craft, and I recommend going to them. Please show the barber a reference picture of the haircut you want so they can give you the desire cut you want.

Parkside Barbershop is hands-down my go-to spot for a fresh cut. The entire experience is always smooth — easy online booking, minimal wait times, and a clean, welcoming atmosphere. They run things professionally and efficiently, which I really appreciate with my busy schedule. That said, a huge part of why I keep coming back is Tina. She’s been cutting my hair for years, and I genuinely wouldn’t trust anyone else. She consistently delivers exactly what I’m looking for and always makes sure I leave looking and feeling great. I’ve recommended her to plenty of friends and family, and everyone’s been impressed. Parkside makes it easy to be a loyal client, and with Tina behind the chair, I’m not going anywhere. Highly recommend.
