Paragon Nails

I walked in today with a gel overlay on my nails and asked if I could have a cut and file and the gentleman told me no that they don't do that. I have never heard of a nail salon not just being able to cut and file nails. The customer service was bad. I had stood in there for minutes before they even wanted to acknowledge that I was at the counter. They just continued to sweep the floor as if they didn't want my business.I see why this place is always empty.

I treat myself a few times a year to a manicure and pedicure. A few weeks ago I got a gel polish and was very impressed how long it lasted. I had one nail chip badly and it became jagged so I thought I’d go back and have the same gal do it. These places and pretty pricey, hence going a few times a year. The first time I had it done it was $85, surprisingly I had it done today and the same gal charged me $105. I asked her why the price was different and she said that the last time I got a reg nail polish. My question to that is, if I got a regular nail polish then why did she use the special tool to take it off vs acetone? Today was not a good value. When I lived in the 'burg, this was my usual place, so that's where I headed while visiting my daughter for her birthday. We took the grands and had a "spa day", and it was great. The guys took very good care of us, it wasn't overly crowded, they do great work, and we all loved our nails. Thank you!

After a busy week I was looking forward to a relaxing pedicure and manicure. It was the worst pedi I have ever had. COLD water for my feet, I had to repeatedly ask for them to give me hot water and no one could seem to understand me. I had to ASK her to clean and in and under my nails, she never filed or clipped my nails even though I asked (again she couldnt understand me), I paid for a callous pedi and left with my callouses still attached. For the mani I got as far as the base coat and told her to just STOP and I left. No lotion, no massage at all, filed with the most harsh file not appropriate for regular nails, didnt even ask me to wash my hands before she started polishing to get off the dust. Cuticules still full of dry skin and look awful. NEVER use them...the worst place I have

I went to get dip powder, i wanted a natural look and color i picked a light color but the coats ware so thick on the nail it looked like big chunks of playdoh. So thick and disgusting looking. Went the next day to get it removed i couldn't see my self around showing my hands looking like that
