The Silk Mill Retreat

I recently completed Ashiatsu training with Kristy at the Silk Mill Retreat, and it was truly an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcomed, safe, and encouraged. Kristy brings such a grounded, calming energy, and she teaches in a way that leaves you feeling both capable and deeply inspired. The retreat space she has cultivated is cozy, nurturing, and thoughtfully designed. You can tell she has a passion for what she does and cares about whom she has at her retreat. I will definitely come back for more. I am super exited to get to stepping. :) I’ve learned so much. She treats you as if you were family. She is unique and she is true to herself and to her space. If you have ever thought of getting trained in this modality as a Massage Therapist…. Do it!! -I

Kristy is absolutely wonderful! I took DeepFeet Basics level 1 for ashiatsu massage in February 2026 and we not only had a wonderful group of students but Kristy is probably the most hospitable massage instructor I’ve ever come across. I’ve been doing massage for almost 15 years, been all over the country and still would return here every time! If you are a massage therapist looking for the next step, TAKE HER BASICS CLASS! When I started class with Kristy I was nervous about how I’d explan it and how comfortable I’d feel giving barefoot massage. During class, I felt completely supported.
