One of the strangest, most stressful experiences I've ever had. Booked a couples massage. One of the employees called me frantically two more times after booking to confirm it. We arrived and immediately everything was intense, the opposite of a relaxing spa experience. She rushed us inside, then started trying upsell us some sort of $10 lotion, had to turn her down multiple times. Rushed us into the room, got under the blanket. The masseuses came back in, and the main one (I learned was the manager) kept pressuring my girlfriend to take her bra off, despite my gf insisting she wanted to keep it on. Although not the worst massage I’ve ever had, it was absolutely an aggressive experience. The lady’s greeted us and immediately tried to upsell us on aromatherapy. Not in a way that said, “would you all like to pay extra for aromatics?” But a shove it in our face and then once we stated we like the smell, they said “ok, only $10 more”. Then without word they rushed us back to the room. From there the fast aggressive massage began. We were told from the beginning that it’d be medium pressure. I’ve had a good amount of massages. This was high medium to deep tissue pressure. Not complaining for me, because I enjoy it at times. My girlfriend, however, does not and specifically asked multiple times for lighter pressure. If you’re looking for a relaxing atmosphere, good customer service, and a peaceful massage experience — this is not the place to go. My husband and I booked a couples massage through Groupon. Note that if you use Groupon, they only allow early morning appointments, so we booked the first available slot at 9 a.m. When we arrived, no one greeted us. The receptionist stayed on the phone for several minutes before checking us in and showing us to the massage room. During the massage, her iphone kept ringing very loudly, and she repeatedly would stop massaging to answer calls in the room, speaking loudly to other customers. Massage is really good. It's my first time here! For a deep tissue massage you get to pay extra $10 but the lady did not charge it. They also give free aromatherapy as a first timer! Will definitely come back!!
