From the very first visit, I felt completely welcomed at Paolo D Salon. Paolo is extremely talented, professional, and takes great pride in his work. His wife Alessandra is just as wonderful, kind, genuine, and very welcoming. As someone who comes from Italy myself, it was especially meaningful to connect with them and share that background. They truly make you feel comfortable and cared for, and the salon has such a warm, inviting atmosphere. I highly recommend Paolo D Salon for anyone looking for excellent service and truly lovely people.

Paolo at Paolo D Salon on Mass Ave in Arlington is an absolute GEM. The salon itself is beautiful, but somehow the service is even more lovely. From the moment I walked in, Paolo was warm, inviting, and instantly made me feel completely comfortable—like I was visiting an old friend. He offered me the best Italian espresso I’ve ever had (truly), and then casually mentioned I’m welcome to stop by for a cup anytime—even if I’m not getting my hair done. Are you kidding?! That level of kindness is rare and so genuine. I had posted online desperately seeking a recommendation for a great blowout, because every blowout I’ve had in recent years has been dull, flat, and never lasted. Paolo was quite literally the answer to my prayers. His amazing wife commented about her husband—an Italian stylist

Paolo did an amazing job with my hair. He understood immediately what i needed and what i was asking. He put me at ease and explained me what he was doing and why. The atmosphere is warm and you feel like you know him for a very long time. It was exactly what I was looking for. Thanks Paolo :)

Paolo gave an amazing first hair cut to our 2.5 year old daughter, all while kneeling on the floor because she didn’t want to sit in the chair. the Italian espresso for me and my husband was a nice treat. we will definitely be going back to Paolo!
