This place is just MIND BLOWING!! Never in a million years would I have imagined a place this upscale and classy and VIP- in the heart of Sherman Oaks! But you can well understand why people from “over the hill” would make the drive. Just take a look at the photos and the other reviews and you’ll see why. Besides being gorgeous and resembling a five star spa, owners and management have really gone out of their way to create a 5 STAR SPA experience. Everybody is warm and welcoming, the services are very detailed, and they check in with you constantly to make sure you’re happy. Painted Pretty has been our salon for about a year and Annie is our stylist. First: the salon. Located on the square conveniently across the street from the parking lot, the salon is situated on the corner of W Houston and S Crockett. The large windows invite natural light into the large salon with a high ceiling. There is a relaxed feel. I recall my first visit there and when I walked in, I felt like I had been there before. The salon is clean, well maintained. And then there's Annie. If you want a stylist who knows color, she has a lot of experience. She keeps up with current trends in hairstyling and cuts for both men and women. She is on time and cares about her client and is highly recommended. Go see her!

Within the past year that I have gone to Ashley Johnson at Painted Pretty, I have gained a ton of confidence in both the health and look of my hair. Ashley worked with me from the beginning on getting back to a more natural color, but her best talent seems to be the pop of color she creates when doing highlights. Every time I leave Painted Pretty, I feel like I’ve had a huge confidence boost because of her! More than a hairdresser, she likes to advise her clients on products and tips to keep their hair healthy. She will be my hair go-to forever 💕💕

Hair cut by Carla. She did a great job. Showed her an image a week before and asked if she could it done in a certain time frame..not only she she remember I provided an image, she remember I had a time restriction, and worked quickly and accurately to accommodate my needs. I really appreciate the staff at Painted Pretty Vanity for being up front with their capabilities of meeting my needs, and I appreciate Carla for accommodating them and conpleting them well within the time frame given. (For the nosy ones I work 6 days a week and only time frame I had was during lunch to get this done.)
