Ovilla Nail Salon

This was my first visit stopping the by Ovilla Nail Salon to get an impromptu gel manicure. It was a good experience there in a clean and relaxing environment.The nail artist Tony was very nice and accommodating to me and my daughter. He listened to me as I explained what I wanted and many times asked if I liked my nails during the placement of the acrylic and shaping process. I’ve added before and after photos. I will return again. Good job Tony! Third visit Update: 02/26/26 Tony did another great job on my mani and Helen rocked my pedi ( I was in heaven) I’ll be returning in a few weeks.

I bring my 8 year old daughter here. This place was recommended by a friend. The owner Tony does her nails and toes. He’s so kind and patient with her. He does an amazing job. Last time we were here a random person paid for my daughter’s nails and toes (a random act of kindness 🥰) and Tony was kind enough to let me know, he could’ve not said anything and charged me again. The manager was unfriendly, and the manicure was awful—no buffing, cuticles butchered, and just one sloppy coat of clear polish for $20. The pedicure was maybe a 6/10 at best. The foot massage had zero pressure, and when I asked for more firmness, nothing changed, the staff and translator simply ignored me. Paying $80 for that level of service felt like a complete waste.

I was frustrated right away..I brought my kids (like I do everywhere else) and the guy who greeted me tried to make my kids sit by the door away from me…not welcoming at all!!! The pedicure was so disappointing..it felt rushed, the massage was very basic and not great. The lady who did my toes went way too fast and cut my nail too short. A 50.00 pedicure only took her 20 minutes, most places it’s 45 minutes to an hour. At the very end the lady messed up my polish, I pointed it out to her and she kept trying to cover it with more polish and I had to demand her take the polish off of that toe and do it again. I was extremely disappointed, and won’t come here again. WORST NAIL SALON EXPERIENCE.

Never again, was here for 45 min and this is all they accomplished, soaking for 45 min, I was the only one there, then while I’m soaking (if that’s what you want to call it, they just had cotton dipped in acetone on my fingertips) other people come in and they take care of them while I’m just sitting with foil on my Fingertips for 45 minutes. I finally tell them I have to leave in 40 more minutes after already being there 45 and they told me that that’s too short of a time. So I told them I need to leave. They takeoff the foil and let me walk out like this. I asked them you’re gonna let me walk out like this, and he said yes. Never going back
