Oumi's Haven Hair Braiding

I’m so furious typing this.. If you don’t know how to do a style, just say that. I was charged $220 for a shoulder length, mini twist style with hair that I brought in and disappointed is an understatement. It took 7 hours and came out terribly. The hairstyle is nothing like what I showed them. It’s uneven in braid size and length. I could have done a better job at this myself. I will never come back to this shop, there’s much better out there. Im disgusted

UNLESS the owner herself is doing my hair I promise I will never be back . If someone show you a picture that includes stitch braiding be honest and say u can’t provide that service . Don’t wait until I book my appointment and start my hair to tell me u can’t . And the boho hair you offered that u said was human is NOT. I spent hours fixing my hair to get it how I wanted it . Hair was coming out and tangled the same day. Sorry but never again . Please do better!!!

Terrible Customer Service . The woman Katy who started my hair was very professional and neat. Once the rest of them joined in they were pulling my hair left and right . Rushing my hair where it looks really shaggy and uneven, they have different braiding styles so all of my braids came out different . On top of that they are literally speaking over your head in their native tongue and some parts because French I was able to pick up . Just rude and terrible customer service. One of them short with bleached white skin lacked manners, respect, and modesty as she chattered about and discussed me in such a disgusting tone in front of my children . It took everything in me not to just get up and leave since my hair was only 95% completed. I pray Katy is able to open her own salon one day becaus

You shouldn’t treat a customer bad if you have to fix their hair! I didn’t know you felt this way about our people you have been apart of our community for so long I didn’t expect that from you! I understood every word clearly tonight my grandfather is African!

Oumi and the hairdressers do a good job with hair. But none of that matters because the customer service is so poor. No one there honors appointments made. You will be left sitting more than an hour before you are seated to get your hair done. This is completely unacceptable and the establishment must change their work ethics.
