Ossama's Hair Design

I have been to Ray 5 times and have never been disappointed. I have had several services from relaxers to color and cuts. My hair is healthier since I started going to Ossama salon. I am very pleased with the service and atmosphere. Personally, I have never experienced nor witnessed instances of rude behavior or poor customer service. What I don't particularly like is having few payment options; everyone doesn't carry cash or use zelle. I don't see the reason for not accepting credit cards or Apple Pay, which are easier forms of payment.

I would not suggest going to this place if you are natural and do not get perms. They are not skilled with maintaining split ends of natural hair, (no perm) as they require extremely even ends to make their work look acceptable to them. I’ve been to Osama, Mena, and Yehia in the past and never had an issue with my ends being difficult to manage. I was told by stylist Ray that my hair was damaged and unhealthy, and that he only had to trim an inch. He trimmed off maybe three inches, and on top of it all charged me $165 (for a simple wrap) while my hair poofed up 30 minutes later after leaving. If I could rate a 0, I would. I emailed and called the week before to ask about pricing. They could not give me an exact price of their services and none of the services had prices online. The guy made me comb my own hair out. Charged me extra for a service that I did not request. I'm disappointed because this was my first experience. I called the next day to speak with someone about the up charge and they said it depends on your hair. A service should depend on the service NOT the customer's hair. They charge $45 for a wash and dry on Relaxed hair but my hair is natural and curly, so he upcharged me an extra $40 and charged me for a deep conditioner I did not receive. I had went here today because of all the great reviews I saw. I never let anyone touch my hair but today I gave up in came here. I was not disappointed at all. I love my hair, it feels great and everyone love my hair. This will be the salon I go to every 2 weeks. Good day to anyone reading this. I highly recommend that you, your family, or friends do not go to this hair salon. The stylist himself has little to no knowledge on how to maintain and grow hair. After going to this salon a mere few times, I’m without a doubt never giving this man any chances of touching my hair again. Not to mention but, the quality of the edifice interior itself is poor, and surely a lackadaisical person could only be capable of making it so effortlessly dull. When doing my hair, he didn’t even add heat protection or any oil sheen when he was finished. When my head wasn’t in the ideal position, he would proceed to roughly grab it, shifting it with such unnecessary pressure. He communicates a lot through his apathetic gestures while he most certainly lacks a profession
