OP Nail Spa

I read the reviews which were mostly good and this was place was personally recommended so I tried it out today and was horribly disappointed. They have a poor sense of customer service after not being greeted nor asked what actual types of services I wanted. I scheduled this one week out and planned a relaxing day for myself, but feel so let down. After sitting in the pedicure chair for almost 20 minutes I was finally provided a technician, but she only upsold me to get a manicure. By the time she finished my pedicure I almost left because a toddler could have managed and painted my nails better. None of them were properly clipped or shaped and my legs felt sticky after she barely washed them down by throwing a warning towel on them the whole service only lasting 21 minutes. Unfortunately

They do a great job here! All the ladies are welcoming and kind. I don’t usually get manicures but i was so happy with my nails the 1st visit that i came back 2 weeks later to get them redone, the polish never even chipped, my nails just grew. I did gel polish and their pricing is very reasonable! I plan to come back regularly:)

It’s the best place for pedicures and manicures. I’ve been going there up and on for a while. I live in Newport News so sometimes I don’t get there but it’s the best. Everybody is very nice there and good technicians can’t say enough.

Kim did an amazing job on my nails! It’s a cute salon. You can tell the customers love going there because there were many regulars that clearly get their nails done here all the time while I was there! I’ll definitely be going back!

Overall, pretty happy about my experience here. I would probably give it 7-8/10 or 4/5 stars. They were able to squeeze me in for an appointment which I greatly appreciated, but the lady made a few backhanded comments to me about getting my nails done (which were chipping) and my eyebrows done (didn’t look on fleek) which I didn’t greatly appreciate as I made it clear I only had time and wanted a pedicure. My appointment also started a bit late. Other than that, she was quick, and my nails turned out well. $32 for a standard pedicure is a few dollars more than I could have wanted to spend, especially before tax and a $5 tip. Unsure if I’ll come back or try another place. One thing I did appreciate about this place is that it doesn’t smell strongly of fumes. That is definitely a plus.
