Onyx Nail and Bar

I scheduled an appointment on Saturday for Sunday at 1:05 p.m. When booking, I specifically selected Holly because my previous experiences with the other two technicians (one male and one older female) were not great. Shortly after I arrived, another woman walked in after me. Holly took her as a client and assigned me to the older technician instead. From the start, she seemed flustered because I chose five different colors (one for each nail). She huffed when she had to go retrieve them. While removing my previous polish (which she had done during my last visit), she told me I “needed a fill.” I was confused and explained that these are my natural nails and informed her that I do not get dip or acrylics. I’m very happy with the service and quality I received. Hao did a great job, and the salon is very pretty. They have a ton of colors to choose from and the sculpt on my set is perfect. Ultra smooth and not too thick. I’ll definitely continue having my nails done here!

Holly is incredible. I just truly appreciate the precision she takes on making sure that every nail shape is similar and that you are happy.

Finally found a place in Morgantown that gets it! It was my first time at Onyx, but Holly did such a great job, I’ll definitely be coming back. She was so attentive — I really loved her service!

Had an appointment with the owner, walked in and ended up getting Holly. She did a fabulous job. She was very nice & helpful. Ended up getting someone else for my pedicure and she did not paint my toenails good and it was very rushed. Everyone is very nice here but this is not the first time I have made an appointment with someone and ended up getting someone else so not sure why you can even pick who you want online. They also charge you $5 for take off and nail shape which I’ve never heard of before.
