I moved to the area for work and got recommendations for Erin specifically for blondage & balayage. She is EXCELLENT! So far I’ve visited 3 times, once for a hair consultation, the balayage, and a hair styling for an event. She was polite and bright and personalized my experience for my hair type/goals. My hair is thick asian hair and naturally black. The salon itself is new. The Passport app finally works so there’s lots of convenient street parking. The space is so cozy and clean! It felt so relaxing getting my hair cut and washed. Even the sinks were comfortable (for those long toning seshes)! The balayage+trim+style was about as long as I anticipated (4.5 hrs) and it was so so so worth it! I got my hair lifted from virgin black to a milk tea beige as a step to eventually go lighter.

Highly recommend Onyx & Ash! Kelby Coil does my whole family’s hair including our toddler and she’s just the best! We love the atmosphere at the salon and even more our conversations with Kelby!

Love this spot! The owners are incredible people and have created such a special space. Kelby does a fantastic job with my hair, and I feel like a million bucks every single time. The prices are also so affordable. With all of the services they provide, it’s a one stop shop.

I’m SO disappointed! From afar, Marie looks like my dream stylist. The information and pictures she has on her website really speak to me and what I’m looking for. But she is literally IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. Email, calls, instagram messaging — NOTHING for over a week! I live really far and had some questions to ask before booking, but I guess I’ll have to look elsewhere. Too bad, I was really looking forward to this place.

I hadn't had a haircut in a long while after so many bad barber experiences, this lowkey changed my life Marie absolutely KILLED IT, I walked out feeling like a whole new person, super relaxed and chill, made me feel incredibly welcome, I genuinely couldn't ask for more, just a great place to be!
