I’ve been coming here for around 7 months and I continue to do so. Phillip is a true master of his craft. Always been very pleased with my results. Super professional. If you are new to the area or looking for a new barber 10/10 recommend coming here.

I was in Charleston as a groomsman for my friend’s wedding and needed to fix a bad haircut. I was seen by Xavier who did a great job and was easy to talk to. I highly recommend having your hair done at this establishment, especially for special occasions. Note that they generally do not take walk ins because they need enough time to achieve a high level of quality.

I’ve been going to Phillip for a year now. His service is impeccable- he really takes his time and has a deep sense of pride in his work. The haircuts he’s given me are the best I’ve ever received worldwide. I look forward to future haircuts as they keep me looking good and boosting my confidence along the way. In true luxury Charleston fashion, Oliver Lux is the most sophisticated barbershop I’ve ever had the pleasure of going to. Who else greets you with Fuji water?! Forever impressed.

Lauren did my hair for my wedding, and I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out! We had a consultation beforehand where she really took the time to understand my vision. She was so knowledgeable and gave me helpful advice about which hairstyle would work best with my veil. On the big day, she absolutely ate!The style was stunning, and it lasted perfectly all night. Highly recommend Lauren to any bride looking for someone talented, professional, and so kind to work with!

My favorite place to go for a haircut. Great ambience and just a nice relaxing space that feels like a lounge. The owners are friendly and you can tell are really care about what they do. All that is a plus. The hair styling is on point. I've had a hard time finding a consistently good stylist in Charleston and now that I've found Xavier, I'm not going anywhere else. Great cut each time, and really takes the time to understand what I want while also adding his professional opinion. Nothing but good things to say about Olliver Lux.
