Oley Hair

on February 20, 2026 I went Oleys African hair braiding shop located in Greensboro North Carolina on W. Market St. for Alicia Keys braids. While getting my braids I repeatedly told the hairstylist that the braiding was hurting my head and I could feel my scalp puffing up halfway through the style. I asked her to remove all of the braids from my scalp, and I would pay whatever fee was needed to pay. She proceeded to say that she would fix them and she only fixed the left half of my head and left the right half of my head still with tight braids. I paid her the $165 plus a $15 tip a plan arriving home that evening. I noticed that my scalp has started to blister and become red on the right side from the braids and I tried multiple times to put a warm rag to loosen some of the tension in my ha

I’m always satisfied with my braids. Sarah does a great job and is very pleasant. Prices are very reasonable however I will say; be prepared to sit for a while because an appointment doesn’t guarantee a time. The shop does accept walk ins so that may slow your service some what. Their working space and bathroom has been kept clean and sanitized ; everyone is required to wear a mask.

I’ve been going here for 17 years. They’ve always kept my hair nice an neat an it stays for a couple months. Long story short I love Oley hair braiding!!!!!!!

They did my hair very good although they gave me a seat to sit my belongings on and I had food it was ants all over it disgusting
