Neal is the best! If you want a great haircut, I highly recommend him. My hair always looks great. My hair has started to look more healthy and grows like a weed since I started going to him.

I have gotten my hair cut at a variety of different establishments in Greensboro and this one has got to be my favorite. The space has been created out of an older house and has a very relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Mix in the rustic Americana decor, cool retro barber chairs, and good music and you have the winning combination. Amy is my go to stylist and she always goes above and beyond to make sure my hair is always looking it's best. She will also gives me great advice on trying new things. I recommend the hot towel treatment. Really though, how many times have you gone to the Barber shop thinking you were going to simply get a haircut and then ended up going home in an Uber?

I highly recommend Idlewood Salon. Neal is AWESOME! He is the only person I trust with my haircut and color. He does an amazing color experience. I've been going to him for over 7 years. I even drive all the way from Raleigh just to see him now.

When I moved to Greensboro 5 years ago I had to find a new hairdresser... and after a few mishaps I connected with Amy and I'm forever grateful. She's taken me from short to long, long to short, lighter, darker & everywhere in between. She's always willing to try something new, incredibly knowledgeable, and honest on what will (or will not) look good. I've recommended her to so many friends and they all love her as well! I always look forward to going to see Amy! Idlewood has that perfectly relaxed and creative atmosphere that most salons fail to achieve. I always look forward to going in.

There are those once in a life time stylist you meet and Neal Cryder is one of them. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a stylized cut. I showed up wanting a drastic change and left with a beautifully cut and trendy new hair style. The salon is tucked away near Latham Park with antique decor and a relaxing down to earth atmosphere.
