OJ's Beauty Supply

Was pleasantly surprised when I walked in and found people that look like me and to see that it is a black-owned beauty supply store! So refreshing. It felt like a safe space and I didn’t feel judged or like I was being surveilled. They were incredibly kind and helpful in helping me find everything I needed, as well as providing recommendations for what to use. The products are priced well. I wish I’d known about them sooner. This will definitely be my go-to place now for all things hair-related

I bought a pair of sunglasses from this store around this time last year. I took them to the car I put them on and they broke. I went right back into the store and I told them what thad happened and they told me I was lying. My anxiety went through the roof I just could not believe that they were telling me that I was lying. They said that no sunglasses had ever done that before and insinuated that I was trying to scam them. They refused to refund or to give me an exchange. I took my sunglasses and I walked out the store and I never went back. I wasn't able to write a review because I didn't know the name. I love the store and the people are very personable and friendly. They are very helpful also with finding products that you need and will even tell you where to buy a product if they do not carry it, or will order it for you. The only con I have is that it is not in the best neighborhood so if you get a little spooked by people hanging out around the place that look questionable, smoking weed, cat calling women etc then you would want to steer clear of this place. PLUS there is a liquor/party store near that a lot of questionable looking people tend to go.

The products & clothing items are great. The service is always friendly, fast. They will orderra products if you ask.
