Been living in Albuquerque for decades and never knew this gem was here. Stayed in a private 2 bedroom Casita. It was clean and comfortable with a gas fireplace. It has an enclosed patio for privacy. Soaked in beautiful and clear spring fed pools. The pools are located in three areas all easy walking through beautiful and serene landscapes. Ate at Blue Heron and the green chile chicken enchiladas were very good. Definitely will be coming back. You can save some on room charges through Expedia or othe travel apps.

10/9/25. Private soak for 2. Very nice. Also enjoyed stone massage. Lunch was great. Dinner was superb! Stayed over 1 night; room as good. A bit pricey but nice, microwave, fridge and kitchenette. Roomy and adequate.

I shared a two-bedroom casita with a friend for three nights in mid-October and had a very nice stay. Contrary to other reviews, I found the pools to be clean and situated nicely. They are set amongst trees and foliage, and when the breeze blew it sounded wonderful. Compared to other hot springs, there is no sulfur smell. It's true that the room walls are either not insulated at all, or not well enough. Take ear plugs. The restaurant was disappointing, but is decent enough if you don't want to find something nearby. This is not a luxury resort, with lots of attendants monitoring noise levels or replacing towels. Nor is it rustic with minimal maintenance. It's a very nice facility in a lovely natural setting frequented by people from a nice variety of demographics. I plan to go with friends

My daughter and son in law have been to Ojo Caliente several times and thought all of us ( my wife and I included ) would like to make a trip up from Santa Fe . All of the pools are great. The facility is well maintained as I have read from other reviews that they had rude staff members , every staff member we needed help from was pleasant and informative. I highly recommend Ojo Caliente for a day of relaxing mineral springs.

Beautiful area but our experience was mediocre from the beginning. There were tons of people lined up to get in to the public tabs when we arrive. It took a long time to just get through the front desk. After paying $45 each for the public tub we were told that they only had one locker for all three of us and there was only one towel in the locker. They never supplied us with additional towels. The sauna is included in the public tub day pass, however it was out of order entire time we were there. The water in a couple of the public tubs was gross and dirty looking. And the bathrooms and showers in the change rooms were filthy. Overall it was a very subpar experience and I would not recommend anyone to go there. Over priced and not worth it.
