Ogechi African Hair Braiding

They are nice I would come here a lot because It was pretty cheap the first couple times I went, then charged me upwards of 400$ for braids not even halfway down my back, the owner will be on the phone the whole time and walk away and do other things while she is braiding your hair I get they have two businesses and I tried to be understanding but I’d rather just go somewhere else

I would like to start off by saying the owner of this place is a pleasure to be around, and everything was great until we involved a second braider. I went in for simple small kinky twist. One woman twisted the front, and the other twisted the back. The second day after getting it done, the back twist begins to frizzy and fat, which means they are coming apart(Pic below). I called the owner, and she agreed to have the issue fixed. I go in the next week, and the second braider is there to fix her own mistakes(understandable), but her attitude was really jacked up. She began to take it down, and I had to tell her 2 times that she was pulling too hard. I also had to tell her she didn't need scissors to take is down that she just needed to comb out the knot at the end. Well, fast forward to t

They did a beautiful job on my hair and they were very polite

So my particular story was that I called very last minute for braids and OG was so kind enough to take me in. She was very pleasant to talk to and for a whole head of box braids. I am so satisfied with my braids. She made sure to know what look I had wanted (which wasn't anything fancy). It took about 5 hours which is to be expected but I had a wonderful time.

They do amazing work here! Me, my daughter and grand daughter came to get our hair braided and they were fast and our hair looks amazing Mrs. OG and Bisi worked on our hair and at one point 3 people were working on my grand daughter so that she could leave with me and my daughter because they were finished with our hair! This will FOREVER be my hair braiding salon!
